Refund Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
International payments
This policy covers monthly subscriptions, renewals, additional seats and additional storage purchased through PREPIX’s international checkout. PREPIX is provided by Lasker Inc. Purchases through our Korean checkout in KRW are covered by our Korean refund policy.
If you have a separate business agreement, its refund terms apply. Neither this policy nor a business agreement limits rights you have under applicable law.
1. Refunds for unused subscriptions
For Light, Creator and the Business base subscription (three seats), the following refunds are available only if you have not used any paid services included in the purchase. The same rules apply to renewals.
| When you request a refund | Refund amount |
|---|---|
| Payment date through the end of Day 7 | 100% of the amount paid |
| Day 8 through the end of Day 14 | 50% of the amount paid |
| After Day 14 | No change-of-mind refund, even if unused |
If you have used any paid service, even once, we do not offer a change-of-mind refund. This applies even within the first seven days. Unused processing allowance or time left on a subscription does not qualify for a partial refund.
Additional seats and storage follow Section 3. If the law gives you a right to withdraw, terminate the contract or receive a refund for services not supplied, the applicable legal rules take precedence over these limits.
2. Deadlines and what counts as use
The day after payment is Day 1. Dates and deadlines under our refund schedule use Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). For example, a payment made on October 1 qualifies for a full refund through October 8, and a 50% refund from October 9 through October 15, provided it remains unused. Statutory deadlines are calculated under the applicable law.
A purchase counts as used once paid credits are deducted for a completed analysis, or you use a paid-only feature or paid storage included in that purchase. Any such use makes the purchase ineligible for a change-of-mind refund, regardless of the amount used. Using a paid-only feature counts even if the work uses free credits.
For Business subscriptions, use by any authorized workspace member counts. The person who paid does not need to have used the service personally.
Paid storage counts as used when files are actually kept in the paid storage included in that purchase. This includes keeping existing files in that storage after renewal. Allocating empty storage alone does not count as use.
Each renewal is a new payment. Use in a previous period does not by itself prevent a refund of the new payment. We assess the base subscription and additional purchases using their respective charges and actual usage.
3. Additional seats and storage
The unused subscription refund schedule in Section 1 does not cover additional Business seats or storage, including renewals. We do not provide change-of-mind refunds for these purchases, whether used or unused. Billing errors, services not supplied, defects and refunds required by law are handled separately.
Seat reductions and cancellation of additional storage take effect at the next Business renewal. The current purchase remains available until its paid period ends. Removing a workspace member does not cancel a paid seat. The price, first service period, renewal date and refund terms are shown before purchase.
4. Refund amounts and international payments
Refunds are based on the amount actually paid after discounts, including applicable tax. We do not recalculate the price at the undiscounted rate or deduct our payment processing costs. A 50% refund is rounded to the nearest minor unit of the transaction currency. Free credits, promotional benefits and coupon discounts have no cash refund value.
For orders containing several items, we calculate refunds by item. An order-wide discount is allocated in proportion to each item’s price before the discount. Partial refunds required by law are calculated under the applicable rules, taking account of services already supplied.
Refund terms may vary by country. For payments in US dollars (USD), additional refund terms set by the payment provider or seller handling your purchase may apply. Any terms that differ from this policy are shown before you pay. Your statutory rights remain unchanged.
Refunds are issued in the original transaction currency to the original payment method. If that method is unavailable, we will arrange an appropriate alternative with you. Your bank’s exchange rates or charges may affect the amount credited in your account’s currency.
5. Billing errors and service problems
If a duplicate charge or billing error is confirmed, we refund the amount charged in error. If credits are deducted but a system error prevents analysis results from being delivered, or credits are deducted more than once or in excess of the correct amount, we restore the credits deducted in error. Restored credits do not count as paid usage. An error resolved by restoring credits does not, by itself, entitle you to a full subscription refund.
If a service is not supplied, does not match its description or contract, or has a defect that prevents normal use, we provide the remedy required by applicable law. Any statutory right to withdraw, terminate or receive a refund is assessed separately from the unused subscription rules.
After you have successfully used a paid service, a difference in editing style, wording or scene selection from your personal preferences is not a reason for a refund. If the service does not work as described or agreed, we handle it under the rules above.
6. Requesting a refund
Use the PREPIX subscription management page or email support@prepix.ai with your account email, payment date or transaction reference, and the purchase you want refunded. For Business, include the workspace name. For a billing error or service problem, briefly describe what happened. We verify that a Business request comes from an authorized billing administrator or the contracting customer.
We respond within three business days with a decision or a request for relevant information. We use the date of your first clear refund request identifying the payment, including requests made on weekends or holidays. Later checks or additional information do not move that date. If we approve only part of a refund or decline it, we explain the calculation or reason and how to ask for a review.
Refunds required by law follow the applicable legal deadline. For other refunds approved under this policy, we submit the payment reversal or refund within three business days of approval. We do not delay submission beyond 14 calendar days from your request without a valid reason. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the refund.
7. Access after a refund
We may temporarily pause further use of the services covered by the refund request while we review it. If we decline the request, we restore access and extend the paid period by the time our review actually prevented use.
Once a full or 50% refund under Section 1 is processed, access to the refunded subscription and its remaining allowance ends. Automatic renewal also stops. Correcting a billing error or refunding an additional item does not cancel other services that were correctly paid for.
If the Business base subscription is refunded, linked add-ons stop renewing. If ending the base subscription prevents us from continuing an add-on, we assess the supplied and unsupplied portions and settle any amount due under applicable law and the purchase terms.
8. Cancellation and policy changes
Cancelling automatic renewal stops future charges. You can keep using the current subscription until its paid period ends, and cancellation does not automatically request a refund. To end the current subscription and request a refund, submit a refund request. Any statutory right to end the contract earlier and receive a refund remains available.
Changes apply to new purchases from the announced effective date and to renewals for which we have given advance notice. Earlier payments remain subject to the policy that applied when they were made. We give at least 30 days’ notice of material changes or changes that reduce your rights, including individual notice to affected customers.
